Pars Today- According to the reports, Washington has urged its mercenary military forces to intensify confrontation with Yemen through Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.
Yemeni media informed of shooting down an American aircraft over the coasts of al-Hodeida province on Tuesday. According to Pars Today, no further details have been released of the news, yet. Washington had announced earlier that “Houthis” [Ansarullah movement forces] had hit American fighter jets for the first time on February 19, 2025, with surface-to-air (SAM) missiles. Washington had considered the usage of SAM missiles by Ansarullah as an important turning point in the history of Yemenis’ confrontation with the US in the region. According to the US, the move indicates the high military capability of Ansarullah movement and they will try to send strong messages to the regional and international powers, while emphasizing that they are not a merely local revolutionary movement, but a regional power which possesses deterrence and confrontation capabilities simultaneously.
American plan against Sanaa
Other Yemeni sources also announced last week that Washington has urged its mercenary and affiliated military forces to intensify confrontation with Yemen through Riyadh and Abu Dhabi. This is while, Sanaa has warned against any aggression and adventurism in its soil and stressed that any aggressive measure by Saudis or Emiratis will boomerang.
Muhammad Ali al-Houthi: Various American threats do not matter for Yemen
Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, said last week, “We say to the US President, Donald Trump, that we will achieve peace with the force of our arms and power of our faith, and we are not afraid of you.” He made it clear, “The weapons that you are threatening us with are the same with which you have been bombing Yemen since the first day.”
Yemenis not heedless of Palestine
Apart from the Yemeni-American conflict, Hazam al-Assad, member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, emphasized on Sunday that Yemenis’ hands are on the trigger and warned the American-Zionist enemy over any resumption of war against Gaza. He added, “If the enemy is in pursuit of resumption of war against the Gaza Strip, we are ready to move towards a widespread war, and if the US is trying to protect or support the Zionist regime in the aggression against our nation in Gaza or any aggression against Yemen, we will target the interests of Washington in the region.”
