Pars Today- Spokesman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis or Parliament) said, “The International Atomic Energy Agency is not obligated to have political activities.”
According to Pars Today, Ebrahim Rezaei, Spokesman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran’s Majlis referred to the recent IAEA report concerning acceleration of enriched uranium production with high purity in Iran and said, “The International Atomic Energy Agency has turned into a political instrument for the West, especially the US and Israel.”
Rezaei added, “One of the examples in this regard is that the agency has not pointed to Iran’s record in inspections. We have had the highest number of inspections by the IAEA during the past Gregorian calendar year and this body has visited our nuclear and non-nuclear centers several times. The IAEA cameras are active in Iran, but false remarks are still stated.”
