Pars Today- Noted analyst of the Arab world said that the million-strong participation of people in the funeral of martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine proved that the illusion of those who had counted on Hezbollah’s weakness has perished.
Abdel Bari Atwan, renowned analyst of the Arab world and editor-in-chief of trans-regional daily “Rai al-Youm”, addressing the glorious and historical funeral of martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine in his recent article, has written, “This million-strong human storm in Beirut was a crushing response to all the Arab and Israeli voices who used to say that the Islamic resistance, led by Hezbollah in Lebanon, has ended and will no more return.”
According to Pars Today, quoting from Mehr news agency, Atwan added, “Martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah has left behind innumerable military and field achievements, particularly in the level of leadership and commandership of Hezbollah during the battle for liberation of southern Lebanon from the occupation of Zionists in 2000, forcing the regime to retreat contemptibly from this country and the defeat of the Zionist regime army in the war of July 2006 which shattered the myth of Merkava tanks and invincibility of the Israeli army.”
He continues, “The funeral of the great men of Hezbollah was an approval of the revival of the power of this movement and reconstruction of the ranks for a strong return to the political and military scene in Lebanon and the entire Arab region. Moreover, when the flags of Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, Algeria and Iran are raised in Beirut alongside the yellow flags of Hezbollah and the pictures of the Seyyed of resistance and his companions, it is an approval of the power of the fronts supporting Gaza, solidarity of the arms of resistance front and preparedness for a great victory with God’s permission.”
Atwan reiterated, “Palestine, which Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in the way of its liberation and sanctities, rejected all temptations and plots and stood against all American-Israeli-Arab pressures which called for severing ties with resistance fronts. It is ready in the field as a representative of the noble groups of the Palestinian nation’s resistance and the children of the noble Lebanese nation.”
The prominent analyst of the Arab world made it clear, “The absence of the leaders of Arab governments in the funeral of the great leaders of resistance- with the fear of infuriating their masters in Washington and Tel Aviv- is an issue which reveals the reality of the Arab leaders and their plots. It also shows that they are lacking the values of resistance, dignity and support of the Islamic Ummah, and they have no valor. Of course, those who were just watchers in the Gaza war cannot be expected to respect the martyrs of resistance.”
Atwan stressed that the Islamic resistance of Lebanon is being returning powerfully and will come back to the field more strongly than before.
