Pars Today – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated: The Iranian nation has no issue with other nations, but today it is facing a broad front of infidel or hypocritical power-seekers.
On Sunday evening, the first day of the holy month of Ramadhan, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, speaking at a gathering of Quranic scholars and renowned international reciters in a session of Quranic reflection, emphasized the personal, social, and national need for the Quran’s healing teachings.
The Leader stated: A Quranic society should act in such a way that the spiritual springs of God’s book flow into the hearts, thoughts, and consequently the behavior and actions of all people.
According to Pars Today, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, while congratulating the blessed month of Ramadhan as the great and true feast of believers, added: Society’s need for the endless resources of the Quran for solving various problems is a serious and real necessity.
The Leader explained the individual needs for the divine book by saying: The cure for all spiritual and ethical ailments of individuals, such as jealousy, greed, suspicion, laziness, selfishness, worship of desires, and prioritizing personal interests over collective ones, lies within the Quran.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also highlighted the internal relations within society, stating: To address social issues, such as social justice which is the most important issue in Islam after monotheism, we need to turn to the Quran.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the Quran as a clear and precise guide in the realm of relations with other countries and added: The Iranian nation has no problem with other nations, but today it is facing a wide range of infidel or hypocritical power-seekers, and the Holy Quran has outlined how to deal with them at different stages; when we should speak to them, at what stage we should cooperate, when we should deliver them a blow, and when we should draw the sword.
He considered understanding the meanings crucial for the effectiveness of recitation and added: The miracle of recitation is the flowing of Quranic concepts into hearts and acting upon them.
