Latest news on funeral ceremony of martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine

Pars Today – Various official and unofficial delegations from different countries have arrived in Beirut to participate in the funeral procession of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the martyred Secretary-General of Hezbollah.
The bodies of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the martyred Secretary-General, and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, the martyred head of Hezbollah’s political council, will be laid to rest tomorrow, February 23, 2025, in southern Lebanon. 
According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, in the past few hours, official delegations from Yemen, Iraq, Tunisia, Mauritania, Turkey, and Iran have arrived in Beirut to take part in the funeral ceremony of the martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine.  
 
Yemeni delegation arrived in Beirut
Yemen’s al-Masirah network published images of the reception of the official Yemeni delegation, which arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport in the Lebanese capital to participate in the funeral of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.  
 
Hamas’s call
The Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (Hamas) has called on the public to participate widely in the funeral procession of the martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine in Beirut. The Palestinian movement, emphasizing loyalty to the martyrs’ cause and renewing its commitment to continue the path of resistance until the complete liberation of Palestine, urged the people to have a strong presence at the funeral of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.  
 
Presence of the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament at Martyr Nasrallah’s funeral
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, along with a group of Iranian officials, will travel to Lebanon to attend the funeral of martyrs Nasrallah and Safieddine.  
 
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah’s son invited people to attend his father’s funeral
Seyyed Mohammad Mahdi Nasrallah, the son of the martyred Secretary-General of Hezbollah, in a speech inviting people to attend his father’s funeral, said: “Participating in Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral is a day to declare a stance and demonstrate practical love for the martyr Nasrallah.” He emphasized: “Enemies, opponents, and ill-wishers have done everything in their power to prevent the funeral ceremony from taking place in any way possible.”  
 
Message from the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church in al-Quds
Atallah Hanna, the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church in occupied al-Quds, in a message honoring the lofty status of martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, stated: “We stand in respect for the sacrifices of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, his colleagues, deputies, and those who stood by him, supported Palestine, defended Palestine, and paid a heavy price for Palestine.” He added: “The Palestinian people will not raise the flag of surrender and remain committed to their rights, as the word ‘surrender’ has no place in the Palestinian lexicon.”
