Latest developments / Israeli tanks assault Jenin camp after 23 years; resistance is only way

Pars Today- Israeli tanks assaulted Jenin refugee camp in the north of the West Bank on Sunday evening after 23 years. According to Pars Today, Zionist regime Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, during a press conference on Sunday at the graduation ceremony of the regime’s officers in Holon city, near Tel Aviv, said that the Israeli army will continue war in the West Bank and some regions of Lebanon.
The Zionist regime army has expanded the so-called “Iron Wall” military operation in the Palestinian cities and refugee camps in the north of the West Bank, especially Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas provinces, since January 21.
However, Palestinian officials have warned that the operation is a part of the scheme of Netanyahu’s cabinet for annexing the West Bank and declaration of [Israeli] sovereignty on it; hence it would be tantamount to official declaration of the death of the “Two-State” solution.
Meanwhile, Israel’s War Minister, Israel Katz, saying that the forces of the regime would remain in Jabal al-Sheikh and the region bordering with Syria for an unknown time, explained, “We will not allow the return of the West Bank inhabitants to the camps which we have entered.” The Zionist regime war minister added, “War will not end unless with achieving two goals, namely, returning of all our captives and end of Hamas’ rule in Gaza.”

Netanyahu opposes security institutions’ recommendation for release of Palestinian captives
The US website Axios, quoting from some of the Zionist regime officials, announced on Sunday, “Despite recommendation of the chiefs of security institutions, Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed the release of 600 Palestinian captives.”
This news website noted that the heads of security bodies in the Zionist regime have recommended Netanyahu to do his best to end the second phase of ceasefire negotiations or prolong the first phase.”
This is while, according to the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of captives between the resistance and the regime, 600 Palestinian captives were to be exchanged with 6 Israeli captives on Saturday. However, the fake regime once again violated the agreement and refused to free the Palestinian captives.
Netanyahu’s office, expressing dissatisfaction on Sunday with the way of delivery of Israeli captives, claimed that Hamas deliberately “tarnishes” their “dignity” and uses them for propaganda and political purposes.
Meanwhile, Basem Naim, one of the Hamas leaders, told Reuters, “Before releasing the Palestinian captives whom have been agreed upon in return for 6 Israeli captives, Hamas will not hold any talks with the enemy through mediators on the next step in the ceasefire agreement, unless [all] Palestinian captives are released.”
