Iran’s prestigious position in 3 fields, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing worldwide / Rank 2 in scientific output among Islamic countries

ParsToday – “Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi” highlighted Iran’s high scientific ranking in the three fields of pharmacy, dentistry, and nursing globally.
According to a report by Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Iran’s Health Minister “Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi,” described the country’s scientific standing as favorable during the closing ceremony of the 30th Razi medical sciences research and technology festival in Tehran. He stated: In pharmacy, we rank 8th, in dentistry 11th, and in nursing 13th in global scientific output.
Zafarghandi emphasized that the development of any country depends on scientific progress, saying: No development will occur unless the prerequisite for scientific growth — which is the respect and recognition of scholars — is realized. Throughout history, whenever scholars were valued, it led to the growth and development of that nation.

Pointing to Iran’s good scientific ranking globally, he said: If we want our country to develop and place national interests at the forefront of our goals, we have no choice but to prioritize the prerequisites for scientific and research development, which is to honor science and scholars as the cornerstone of our work.
