Pars Today – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has identified the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of the largest hosts of refugees in the world. In a statement released on Tuesday, the WFP announced that Iran has supported 3.8 million refugees over the past four decades.
According to Pars Today, the WFP statement highlighted that Iran has demonstrated its commitment to supporting refugees, primarily from Afghanistan and Iraq, by providing access to healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities.
Ulyanov: European troika should abandon the snapback illusion
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, criticized the European members of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) for their lack of commitment during a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors on Tuesday.
He described claims regarding the activation of the snapback mechanism as illegitimate and emphasized that the West should abandon these illusions and focus on finding a political and diplomatic solution through constructive interaction with Iran.
