Pars Today – Channel 14 of the Zionist regime reported that soldiers of the regime left the Netzarim axis (northern Gaza) in tears, stating that if they return to the war in Gaza, death will be their fate.
The news outlet Rai al-Youm, citing Channel 14 of the Zionist regime, added that the Israeli regime’s soldiers withdrew from the Netzarim axis, where the regime’s army had been stationed to separate Gaza City and its north from the central and southern regions. According to Pars Today, the Zionist regime’s soldiers, while crying, expressed that they felt their efforts in Gaza over the past year had been futile.
Earlier on Monday, the Zionist regime’s army retreated from the Netzarim axis following an agreement between the regime and Hamas to release six Zionist prisoners, including “Arbel Yehud,” in exchange for allowing Palestinian displaced persons to return to the northern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, released a video on Monday evening showing 29-year-old Zionist prisoner Arbel Yehud sending a message to her family, confirming that she is alive. In the video, the captured Zionist soldier urged U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to work towards maintaining the ceasefire so that all prisoners could return home.
Previously, Benjamin Netanyahu had conditioned the return of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to their areas in northern Gaza on the release of Arbel Yehud. Before the attack on Gaza, Netanyahu had claimed that he would eliminate Hamas and free the captured Zionist soldiers through military action. However, these claims did not materialize, forcing Netanyahu to agree to a ceasefire with Hamas.
Speculations suggest that by prioritizing the release of Arbel Yehud, the Zionist prime minister is attempting to decrease public pressure over the failure in the Gaza war. Amid ongoing criticism of Netanyahu for the defeat in Gaza, Itamar Ben-Gvir, the resigned and hardline minister of the Zionist regime’s cabinet, admitted that Hamas achieved political gains due to the humiliating agreement Israel accepted.
Ben-Gvir stated, “There is a significant gap between absolute victory and the results on the ground, and between talking about eliminating Hamas and what we see in the field.”
He added, “Where is the absolute victory the cabinet promised? What happened to the destruction of Hamas?”
Rami Igra, the former head of the prisoners and missing persons division in Mossad, in an interview with FM 103 radio, acknowledged the Israeli army’s mistakes and its defeat against Hamas. He said, It is clear that within a few months after the release of the prisoners, the Israeli government will once again face the same powerful Hamas as before October 7th.
This Mossad officer blamed Netanyahu for Israel’s defeat, stating, “Netanyahu has brought Israel back to the pre-October 7th war conditions.” He acknowledged Hamas’s strong leadership in Gaza, adding, “Hamas is invincible and will continue to govern Gaza.”
The defeat in the Gaza war and the repercussions of the Zionist regime’s crimes during the conflict continue to haunt Zionist soldiers. Dozens of soldiers from the Zionist regime have deleted their social media accounts on platforms like Facebook and Instagram to avoid arrest in other countries on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza.
Groups supporting Palestinian rights, led by the Hand Rajab Foundation, a Brussels-based NGO, are using the social media accounts of Zionist regime soldiers and other sources to gather evidence of their crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.
Earlier this month, the Hand Rajab Foundation filed lawsuits against Zionist regime soldiers in Sweden, Brazil, and Italy for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide during the Israeli regime’s war against the residents of the Gaza Strip.
