Pars Today – In a meeting with a group of families of the martyrs of the Holy Shrine Defenders and resistance, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized that Syria belongs to the Syrian people, and those who invade Syrian territory will undoubtedly one day be forced to retreat in the face of the power of the valiant Syrian youth.
According to Pars Today, citing the official website of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, during a meeting on Wednesday morning with the family of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and a group of families of the Holy Shrine Defenders and resistance martyrs, on the eve of the fifth anniversary of Gen. Soleimani’s martyrdom, referred to the continuous construction of American bases in Syria and stated: “The aggressor must leave the land that belongs to a nation, or they will be expelled. Therefore, American bases will undoubtedly be trampled upon under the feet of Syrian youth.”
The Leader considered the continuation of the presence of aggressor occupiers in Syria impossible and stated: Syria belongs to the Syrian people, and the aggressors to Syrian soil will undoubtedly be forced to retreat in the face of the power of the valiant Syrian youth.
Imam Khamenei also emphasized the eventual victory of the Syrian people over the occupiers and the continuation of the resistance of Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon, saying: Lebanon is a symbol of resistance, and although it is wounded, it has not been defeated and will ultimately be victorious, just like Yemen, which is a symbol of resistance and will be victorious, and God willing, the aggressor enemies, led by the greedy and criminal America, will be forced to withdraw from the region with humiliation.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, while outlining some of the personality and behavioral traits of General Qassem Soleimani, stated: “We must learn from these qualities and move toward the main goal of Soleimani’s school, which is the realization of Islam and the Quran.”
Imam Khamenei praised the Holy Shrine Defender martyrs and added: If it were not for those pure sacrifices, today there would be no trace of the sanctuaries, shrines, or any of the sacred sites.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, referring to General Soleimani’s presence in the early 2000s on the frontlines against America’s malign actions in Afghanistan and Iraq, stated: “America’s main goal in occupying these two countries was Iran. However, that honorable and sincere man, without fearing America’s apparent grandeur, entered the battlefield. Ultimately, those occupations ended in America’s defeat and the neutralization of that major plot.”
Imam Khamenei described the defeat of the American-backed Daesh plot as another result of General Soleimani’s swift, timely, and decisive presence on the battlefield. The Leader stated: “In the fight against Takfiri terrorism, Iraqi youth truly shone. However, in neutralizing that plot—on which the life and future of the region depended—Soleimani played an unparalleled role with his initiative, courage, self-sacrifice, and strength.”
