Imam Khamenei: American foolish plan for Gaza will lead nowhere

Pars Today – Ziad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and his accompanying delegation met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Pars Today, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution met yesterday (February 18) with “Ziad al-Nakhalah,” the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and his delegation.
In congratulating the victory of the Resistance in the Gaza Strip, the Leader emphasized that the great achievement of the leaders and combatants of the Palestinian resistance lies in their “unity and cohesion” and “steadfastness” against the enemy, advancing the complex process of negotiations, as well as the patience and resilience of the people, which has brought honor to the resistance movement in the region.
Imam Khamenei described the victory of the Islamic resistance and the people of Gaza against Zionist and American enemies as highly significant and noted: This victory has set a new precedent in the history of resistance struggles.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to some foolish American plans or other schemes regarding Gaza and Palestine, stating: These plans will lead nowhere. The same people who, a year and a half ago, claimed they would eliminate the Resistance in a short time are now receiving their captives in small groups from Resistance forces while releasing a large number of Palestinian prisoners in return.
The Leader described the method of resistance used to secure the release of Zionist captives as a testament to the greatness of the Resistance before the eyes of the world and added: Global public opinion now stands with Palestine, and under these circumstances, no plan will succeed without the consent of the resistance and the people of Gaza.
During this meeting, Ziad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, congratulated the Leader of the Revolution on the great victory of the Resistance in Gaza. He attributed this success to the unwavering support of the Islamic Republic and the guidance of Martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah. He said: Over the past year and a half, the Palestinian resistance was actually at war with the United States and the West, and despite the imbalance of power, the Palestinian resistance achieved significant victories.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad cited the “unity and cohesion” of Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups both on the battlefield and politically as one of the key factors behind Gaza’s victory. While providing an update on the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the progress of negotiations and the agreements reached, he emphasized: We will never forget the path of resistance, and as soldiers of the resistance, we will continue on this path.
Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump proposed the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza to countries such as Egypt and Jordan and announced that the United States would take control of the strip. These statements, reminiscent of colonial policies and in violation of international law, have sparked a wave of regional and international opposition and reactions.
