Former criminal in Africa supporting Zionist criminals today; Baqaei’s answer to Macron on Iran

Pars Today- Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman ruled out recent allegations of the French president against the Islamic Republic of Iran and called them baseless, contradictory and deflective.
Speaking to the French ambassadors in other countries, Emanuel Macron, French President, pointing to the acceleration of Iran’s nuclear program and alleging Tehran of support for Russia in the Ukrainian war, described Iran as the main strategic and security challenge for Europe and America in West Asia. According to Pars Today, Esmail Baqaei, Spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, said, “Instead of arraignment of a genocidal and Apartheid regime whose leaders are prosecuted by the International Criminal Court, the French president points an accusing finger on a country which has always called to peace and respect for principles of international law.”
Baqaei added, “The immediate and real threat for the regional peace and stability is the Occupying Israeli regime which, enjoying the all-out supports of the US and some of the European countries like France, besides continuous occupation and genocide in the Occupied Palestine, has spread its aggression and expansionism incessantly to various regional countries.”
The Iranian diplomat, ruling out the French president’s allegation on Tehran’s nuclear program, stressed, “Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities are within the framework of the international rules and under the exact and continuous control of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and raising unreal allegations by a country which [on one hand] has reneged on JCPOA obligations and [on the other hand] played a significant role in the [Israeli] genocidal regime’s access to nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, is clearly deflective and hypocritical.”
Reminding of Iran’s fixed and principled stance on the need for peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, Baqaei rejected the threadbare allegation of Iran’s meddling in this conflict and made it clear, “Such irresponsible remarks are tantamount to distortion of realities and an attempt to conceal the destructive role of the main players who create crisis in the world.”
Referring to Macron’s expression of “concern” over Iran’s interactions with African nations, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman said with amazement and regret, “The countries which have a record of violent colonialism in Africa cannot preach with the same mindset and assign duties for independent African countries and other nations.”
Baqaei stated, “The relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the African countries are based on mutual respect and respecting the national sovereignty and political independence of each of the African countries. These relations are based on the principles of the international law concerning friendly ties and cooperation among governments according to the UN Charter in a bid to reach mutual interests.”
Finally, he called for revision of the French unconstructive approaches vis-à-vis peace and stability in West Asia.
