Pars Today- Another black man lost his life after fatal beating by the US police.
The killing of a black man in the New York prison has drawn outrage among the American people. According to Pars Today, New York Attorney General, Letitia James, published a body-camera footage on Friday which shows the NYPD forces punching and kicking black inmate, Robert Brooks, while he was semi-conscious.
The footage shows Brooks handcuffed and the police forces, all of whom look to be white, beat him.
According to the American officials, the black inmate died at “Wing” hospital of New York the day after the fatal beating.
The death of this black man, four years after the brutal killing of “George Floyd” by the US police, has triggered criticisms on racial discrimination in the country. Some critics have called for reforms in the rules pertaining to the white police’s conduct with the persons of color (POC)
The groups defending human rights and rights of the black people are intent to demonstrate in New York to protest Brooks’ death.
According to the human rights activists, the death of this black inmate is part of the culture of violence in the correction centers of New York police. The violence of American white police against the POC has a long record. For instance, white police, “Darren Wilson”, shot dead the 18-year-old, “Michael Brown” with 6 bullets in the city of Ferguson, Missouri, in August, 2014.
