Can the Arab world be saved from “Camp David” and “Wadi Araba”?

Pars Today – The U.S. President’s plan for the forced relocation of Palestinians to Egypt faced opposition from Cairo and other countries.
Donald Trump, the U.S. President, made controversial remarks calling for the complete evacuation of the Gaza Strip and the resettlement of Palestinians in neighboring Arab countries to benefit Israel as a solution to the ongoing issues in the Gaza Strip.
According to Pars Today, this comes as Trump’s directive to forcibly relocate the people of Gaza to Jordan and Egypt has encountered widespread international backlash. Critics have described the proposal as a blatant violation of human rights and an attempt at ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip.
Abdel Bari Atwan, an Arab world analyst, referring to Donald Trump’s insistence on relocating Gaza residents to Egypt and Jordan, analyzed the consequences of such a plan.
Atwan said: Trump has used the term “cleaning up Gaza” and is seeking to displace its residents once again in line with Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, and the objectives of his war. Had it not been for the opposition of the Palestinian people and the Egyptian army, the residents of Gaza would now be living in a settlement in Sinai.
This Arab world analyst pointed out that Egypt’s diplomatic resilience, backed by its military power, has been the main obstacle to implementing this plan. He emphasized that the only unifying factor for the Egyptian nation, its military institution, and political leaders is the issue of Palestine, their support for it, and their opposition to the relocation of Gaza residents.
Atwan added: Trump’s strong leverage is cutting off financial aid to Egypt and Jordan to punish them, but this will lead to chaos in the West Asia region, where American interests and military bases will become primary targets. It will also result in the cancellation of peace treaties.
This analyst also highlighted Trump’s merchant-like approach and his support for Zionist expansionism, stating that the goal of the “Deal of the Century” is to strengthen the Zionist regime and annex territories from Arab countries, including the Syrian Golan Heights, East al-Quds, the West Bank, parts of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Jordan.
Atwan stated: The dispatch of Steve Witkoff as a land broker and Trump’s envoy to the West Asia region is no coincidence. His first mission was to infiltrate Gaza and assess the situation as a prelude to the next step—emptying the area of its residents to pave the way for the implementation of the grand Zionist project.
The Arab world analyst continued: In the face of Egypt and Jordan’s opposition, the collapse of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza—and possibly in southern Lebanon—and the resumption of war with full support from the Trump administration is not unlikely. This can be understood from the statements of Marco Rubio, the new U.S. Secretary of State, who expressed doubts about the continuation of the ceasefire.
Atwan added: The resistance, which has stood firm against genocide in Gaza for nearly 500 days and lost its top commanders, will never surrender. If Egypt and Jordan continue to oppose Trump’s plan to empty Gaza of its residents, it will lead to the collapse of the Camp David and Wadi Araba treaties. This will free these two countries and their peoples from shame and mark the first outcome of the al-Aqsa operation Storm and the return of the entire West Asia region to resistance against Zionism and its Western supporters.
