“A lie called free flow of information”: Ayatollah Khamenei explains West’s behavior toward truth

Pars Today – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran as based on Quranic principles and ideals, as well as the criteria and objectives of the Holy Book (of Islam) and the Sunnah (the actions and deeds of the Prophet of Islam), stating: “One cannot rely on Western foundations and criteria because they are contrary to Islamic values.”
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, on Saturday, during a meeting with the heads of the branches of government and a group of officials and managers at various levels in Iran, offered Ramadan advice on individual and social self-forgetfulness and their consequences for individuals and society.
Highlighting the disgrace of Western civilization due to Western actions in colonization, plundering the resources of nations, mass killings, false claims about human and women’s rights, and double standards on various issues, the Leader emphasized: “The free flow of information in the West is nothing but a lie, as in Western-owned social media, it is impossible to mention the names of martyrs like General Soleimani, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Haniyeh, and other prominent figures, nor is it possible to protest against the crimes of the Zionists in Palestine and Lebanon.”
The Leader reminded the audience of the lies spread by Western media about Iran’s situation, stating: “In which of these media outlets is there any mention of scientific advancements, large public gatherings, or the successes of the Islamic nation and system? While they magnify weaknesses tenfold.”
Ayatollah Khamenei described the increasing pride of the nation, despite all the negative propaganda by Iran’s adversaries, as a reality, and said: “If the officials of the system follow the right path while preserving the identity and structure of the system, it is possible to become a model for nations and even the leaders of some countries.”

Imam Khamenei: The opposing side’s goal in repeating negotiations is to create public pressure
Ayatollah Khamenei, expressing satisfaction with the active role of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and emphasizing the expansion of interactions with neighbors and other countries, stated: “Some foreign governments and bullying personalities insist on negotiations, but their goal is not to resolve issues. Rather, they seek to assert and impose their own expectations. If the other side agrees, great; if not, they create a fuss and accuse them of abandoning negotiations.”
The Leader described the opposing side’s goal in repeated negotiations as creating pressure on public opinion and clarified: “They want to sow doubt in public opinion, asking why Iran is not willing to negotiate despite their declared readiness. However, their goal is not negotiation but coercion and imposition.”
Ayatollah Khamenei, referring to the statement by three European countries accusing Iran of not fulfilling its nuclear commitments under the JCPOA, added: “They should be asked: Did you fulfill your commitments under the JCPOA? They failed to fulfill their commitments from the very beginning, and after the U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA, despite their promises to compensate, they broke their word twice.”
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the Europeans’ bad faith and their simultaneous accusations of Iran’s violations as a sign of their shamelessness and added: “The government at the time endured that situation for a year, and then the Parliament stepped in and passed a resolution, as there was no other way. Now, too, there is no other way in the face of coercion and bullying.”
