Pars Today- The ceremony of “BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization Young Leaders Award” was held on January 26 in Kazan city of Russia.
The secretariat of the “BRICS and SCO Young Leaders Award” in Kazan received more than 400 applications from entrepreneurs, media influencers, researchers and environmental activists. Pars today, quoting from the TV BRICS international channel, reported that participants from 13 countries competed for the prize, namely, Brazil, China, Ethiopia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, South Africa, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the UAE.
According to Dilbar Sadykova, Chairperson of the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, it was hard to decide on the winners.
Hosna Salimi, Iran’s representative in the event, won the title of the young researcher of the year. Ms. Salimi won the prize for her scientific and research activities.
TV BRICS international channel, also, reported on Indonesian full membership in the BRICS group and, quoting from experts, made it clear that this is an important turning point in the group’s history. Experts also opine that this group will continue bolstering its global situation. This group is composed of united nations with huge economic and population potentials. Indonesia became a full member of the BRICS group on January 6.
