Pars Today – The X account of Khamenei.ir media, marking the 10th anniversary of Imam Khamenei’s letter to the youth of Europe and North America, published a tweet in French (and other European languages).
The X account of Khamenei.ir media shared a part of the important message from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the youth of Europe and North America, as well as Imam Khamenei’s remarks during the Quranic gathering on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan 1445.
According to Pars Today, the translation of the tweet is as follows:
“Have you directly read Quran? Gain information about Islam via Quran & life of its great Prophet. It’s the Quran that has been able to show the world the pinnacle of resistance in Gaza.”
In January 2015, Imam Khamenei, in a letter addressed to the youth of Europe and North America, emphasized: “Strive to gain a direct and unmediated understanding of the religion of Islam. Sound logic dictates that you should at least know what it is that they are trying to scare you away from and what its true nature is. I do not insist that you accept my understanding or any other interpretation of Islam, but I say, do not allow this dynamic and influential reality in today’s world to be presented to you with impure motives and objectives. Do not allow them to hypocritically introduce terrorists employed by them as representatives of Islam.
Get to know Islam through its authentic sources and primary references. Familiarize yourself with Islam through the Quran and the life of its great Prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny).
Here, I would like to ask: Have you ever directly referred to the Quran of the Muslims? Have you studied the teachings of the Prophet of Islam (Peace be upon him and his progeny) and his human and moral lessons? Have you ever received the message of Islam from a source other than the media? Have you ever asked yourself how this very Islam, based on what values, nurtured the greatest scientific and intellectual civilization in the world over centuries and raised the finest scientists and thinkers?”
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, during a Quranic gathering on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan 1445 AH, also pointed to the steadfastness of the people of Gaza in the face of the brutality and crimes of the Zionist regime, stating that the peak of resilience we witness in Gaza today is the result of understanding and acting upon the Quran.
The Zionist regime, after a year and three months of savage warmongering and failing to achieve its goals, such as freeing its captured soldiers through ground intervention, eliminating the popular resistance of Hamas, and destroying Gaza’s military capability to use rockets, finally agreed to a ceasefire with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on Wednesday night. This agreement came into effect on Sunday afternoon.
