In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced: Since the start of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, until now, the number of martyrs of the Zionist regime’s genocide has reached 48,348, with the number of injured reaching 111,761.
According to Pars Today quoting IRNA, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated in its report: In the past 24 hours, the bodies of two martyrs were transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip. One body was recovered from under the rubble, and one Palestinian was martyred at the hands of the Zionist regime’s soldiers in the past 24 hours; during this period, two Palestinians were also wounded.
The Zionist regime’s army, over 471 days of war and massacre in the Gaza Strip, failed to achieve its stated goals, including the destruction of the Hamas movement, and ultimately was forced to accept defeat in the face of resistance and agree to a ceasefire.
Death of 6 newborns due to severe cold in Gaza
Meanwhile, in recent days, six Palestinian newborns have died in the Gaza Strip due to severe cold and lack of heating equipment.
In this regard, the Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (Hamas) announced: The death of six newborns in Gaza due to extreme cold, lack of heating facilities, and the deteriorating condition of other hospitalized children is the result of the criminal policies of the fascist occupying regime, which prevents the entry of humanitarian aid and essential items for shelter.
90% of homes in Gaza City destroyed
Ahmad al-Sufi, the mayor of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip, also spoke about the latest situation in the city, saying: 90% of the homes in the city have been completely or partially destroyed due to attacks by the Zionist regime.
Israel’s goal in destroying Gaza is to make it uninhabitable
In this context, Riyad Mansour, the Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, emphasized in statements that the Zionist regime is responsible for the deliberate destruction in the Gaza Strip, with the aim of turning it into an uninhabitable area.
Escalation of Zionist occupiers’ violations in the West Bank
Soldiers of the Zionist regime stormed areas of Nablus and Hebron cities in the West Bank of the Jordan River and clashed with Palestinian youth; in these clashes, one Palestinian fighter was martyred and 31 others were injured.
According to the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, Palestinian fighters targeted Zionist regime soldiers and military vehicles during these clashes, resulting in several occupying forces being wounded.
Condemnation of restrictions on access to al-Aqsa Mosque
The Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (Hamas) announced in a statement that they condemn the occupiers’ plans to restrict access to al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadhan and call for increased public presence at this holy site.
