Imam Khamenei, in his meeting with the Minister, deputies, and directors of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence, highlighted the preservation of a revolutionary spirit and approach within the Ministry of Intelligence over the years as one of its distinguished features and merits.
According to Pars Today, citing the official website of the Leader’s office, the Leader stated: “The Ministry of Intelligence is a truly revolutionary institution committed to the Revolution. Just as the veteran members of this ministry have remained revolutionary, the new members are also moving in the path of the Revolution, which is a great blessing.”
The Leader also emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination among intelligence agencies at all levels and stressed the necessity of moral purification and spiritual matters for intelligence personnel.
In another part of his speech, Imam Khamenei described the manifestation of revolutionary vitality and enthusiasm during the February 10 rallies and the emergence of youth and teenagers to defend the Revolution despite the overwhelming hostility against the Islamic system as a sign of God’s will for the progress of Islam within the framework of the Islamic Republic. The Leader added: “Another example of the manifestation of divine will is the anti-Zionist protests in Europe and even the United States, as well as the significant increase in global public support for the Palestinian people.”
At the beginning of the meeting Hojjat-ul-Islam Khatib, Iran’s Minister of Intelligence, presented a report on the ministry’s performance and programs in neutralizing security threats and countering hostile espionage services.
