Pars Today- People in the south of Syria staged a broad demonstration against the Zionist regime aggression and illegal presence of the regime’s army in the country.
The inhabitants of Qunaitra region, south of Syria, staged a protest rally on Monday in front of the governorate building of al-Bas city. Pars Today, quoting from al-Alam TV channel, reported that this demonstration coincided with the arrival of a UN delegation to examine the Zionist regime aggression. In addition to Qunaitra, a number of other Syrian cities and villages were the scene of demonstrations against the Israeli occupation and aggressive policies of the regime. Chanting slogans of “Israel get out of Syria” they called for the full exit of occupying forces from the south of Syria.
Martyr Safieddine’s pure body laid to rest in birthplace
Al-Alam TV channel reported, “The pure body of the former Head of the Executive Council of Lebanese Hezbollah was buried in his birthplace, south of Lebanon, after several hours on Monday. Tens of thousands of Lebanese people participated in the funeral. They chanted slogans against the Zionist regime and also repeatedly chanted “Hayhāt minazzila” (meaning: abjection is absolutely far from us) during the ceremony.
Martyrdom of Palestinian captive
Another news is that the Committee of Detainees and Club of Palestinian Captives announced on Monday evening that a Palestinian captive from the Gaza residents was martyred in a prison of the Zionist regime. According to this report, the occupying forces had detained Mus’ab Hani Haniyeh in the south of the Gaza Strip on March 3, 2024. The committee added that, based on the information gained from Zionist regime army, this Palestinian captive was martyred in the prison of the regime on January 5, 2025.
Gaza martyrs increase
Meanwhile, the Palestinian health ministry announced in a report that 7 martyrs have been brought to the hospitals of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. Moreover, 6 injured had gone to hospitals, too. Therefore, the number of the Palestinian martyrs reached 48,346 and that of the injured amounted to 111,759 since October 7, 2023. Palestinian Information Center reported that many of the casualties have remained under the debris and in streets so that the relief and medical forces have no access to them.
Arab Parliament opposed to expulsion of Palestinians from ancestral land
Mohammed al-Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, during the meeting of the Palestinian Committee, strongly opposed to any plan for expulsion of the Palestinian nation from their land and announced commitment to the international laws and resolutions supporting the Palestinians’ rights to return to their ancestral land and right to life there.
