Removal of French names from Senegalese government sites 
Following a diplomatic crisis sparked by recent remarks from Emmanuel Macron between France and Senegal, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of Senegal announced on Sunday that French names would be removed from boulevards and government buildings in the country, replaced by names of historical Senegalese figures. 
Zionist regime attacks on Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza 
The al-Alam network reported early Tuesday that Zionist regime warplanes attacked areas inside Syrian territory and southern Lebanon. The Nuseirat camp, the al-Saftawi area (northern Gaza), the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood (northern Gaza), the al-Shujaiya area (eastern Gaza), and the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip were also targeted by Zionist occupiers in ground and air attacks on Sunday. 
60% of Gaza families have to shelter after the war 
The Palestinian Housing Ministry in the Gaza Strip announced that over 60% of Gaza families are left homeless after the war. According to the ministry, the volume of debris resulting from the destruction of neighborhoods, cities, and residential buildings due to Israel’s brutal attacks on Gaza is estimated at tens of millions of tons. Meanwhile, debris removal using available equipment in Gaza is not feasible, as most of this equipment has been destroyed or damaged by Israeli bombings. 
General strike by businesses and companies in Idlib, Syria 
Sputnik, citing sources in Syria, reported that businesses, companies, and commercial institutions in the towns of al-Dana and Sarmada in Idlib, northern Syria, have launched a general strike in protest against actions by armed opposition groups led by “Jolani.” According to these sources, the strike follows Jolani’s decision to increase tariffs and customs duties on imported goods. 
Wildfire death toll in Los Angeles rises to 24; Over 12,000 structures destroyed 
The wildfires in Los Angeles, US, have so far claimed at least 24 lives, displaced thousands, and destroyed over 12,000 buildings. Initial estimates by AccuWeather place the economic damages from the fire between $135 and $150 billion. According to U.S. sources, an area larger than the city of San Francisco has been consumed by the flames. 
Resumption of diplomatic relations between Somalia and Ethiopia 
The governments of Somalia and Ethiopia have reached an agreement to end bilateral tensions. The office of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud announced that Mohamud, who had traveled to Uganda to attend an agricultural conference in Africa, visited Ethiopia on his return journey on Saturday and held talks with Ethiopian leaders to strengthen bilateral relations and advance shared priorities. 
Detained Iranian elite returns to Iran from Italy
Mohammad Abedini, an Iranian elite who was illegally detained in Italy, was released following joint efforts by Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Intelligence and returned to Tehran on Sunday night. 
Appointment of Iran’s special envoy for Syrian affairs 
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, appointed Mohammad Reza Raouf Sheibani as his special envoy for Syrian affairs.
