Pars Today – According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Iran’s armed forces have been preparing for years for major battles, large-scale conflicts, and heavy, even prolonged, confrontations with the seemingly great powers.
Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, addressing the missile unit personnel of the IRGC Aerospace Force, stated: “The enemy must be aware of the fact that the political will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to confront the excesses, domineering ambitions, and aggressions of the enemy is a firm, active, and flawless will.”
As reported by Pars Today, Major General Salami emphasized that the Iranian nation stands firmly against the enemy with full strength, adding: “We have never relied on any power outside the borders of our system to defend our independence, identity, dignity, and authority. We have never based our defense of the country on the actions of others. Self-reliance is the core of our doctrine at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.”
The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC also noted that the operations “True Promise 1 and 2” are just a small part of the demonstration of the greatness of the Iranian nation, highlighting that Iran’s missiles are being upgraded daily in terms of quantity, quality, skill, and design.
