Curfew imposed in Los Angeles as clashes escalate

Pars Today – A curfew was imposed in Los Angeles following intensified clashes between protesters and police over the U.S. administration’s immigration policies under President Donald Trump, with hundreds arrested so far.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced at a news conference on Tuesday night local time that a curfew will be in effect in part of downtown Los Angeles from 8 p.m. Tuesday night until 6 a.m. Wednesday local time and will last for several days. The curfew was introduced following several days of protests that have turned violent, targeting specific areas of downtown Los Angeles. (IRNA)
