Pars Today – Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna has warned of the consequences of a proposed Western-backed resolution against Iran at the upcoming meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors.
Mikhail Ulyanov stated that the June meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors commenced on Monday, June 9 and a tense discussion over Iran’s nuclear program is expected.
He added that the United States and the European troika (France, the United Kingdom, and Germany) are planning to introduce a draft resolution on the matter, stressing that such a move will undoubtedly yield negative results. / IRNA
