Pezeshkian: Iran determined to deepen cooperation with Saudi Arabia

Pars Today – The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran held a telephone conversation on Thursday with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, extending Eid al-Adha greetings and emphasizing the development of fraternal relations between the two countries, the deepening of regional cooperation, and the strengthening of unity within the Islamic Ummah.
In his phone call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian sincerely thanked Riyadh for its efforts and arrangements in organizing the grand Hajj pilgrimage and facilitating the rituals for pilgrims, especially Iranian ones. Pezeshkian expressed hope that this spiritual bond would inspire greater unity among Islamic countries.
Mohammed bin Salman also expressed hope that this blessed occasion would bring prosperity and flourishing for the Islamic world, especially the two major nations of Iran and Saudi Arabia. (IRIB news agency)
