Imam Khomeini’s passing away anniversary commemorated at Iranian Embassy in Beirut

Pars Today – The 36th anniversary of the passing away of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him) was marked on Thursday at the Iranian Embassy in Beirut with the attendance of a large number of political, religious, and party leaders from various Islamic and Christian sects.
The Head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc” in the Lebanese Parliament, Mohammad Raad paid tribute to Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him), emphasizing that resistance is deeply rooted in the conscience and awareness of the people and cannot be weakened by any conspiracy.
Addressing Zionists and opponents of the resistance, Raad stated: “If your aim is to undermine the resistance, know that you will not be able to weaken the resolve of our faithful, steadfast, and self-sacrificing people.” (Mehr news agency)
