Araghchi in Cairo: Iran & Egypt share joint responsibility for regional peace

Pars Today – Iran’s foreign minister emphasized that the level of political interaction and cooperation—more importantly, the degree of trust and confidence—in Iran-Egypt relations is unprecedented.
In a tweet posted in Arabic, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stated: “After many years, Iranian and Egyptian diplomacy has entered a new phase. The level of political interaction and cooperation, and more importantly the mutual trust, is unprecedented.”
Araghchi added: “As two influential regional powers with ancient cultures and civilizations, Iran and Egypt have a shared responsibility to maintain peace, stability, and calm in the region.” (IRNA)
