Pars Today – The speaker of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) on Sunday night local time emphasized the need to boost trade between Iran and Venezuela during a meeting with a large group of Iranian and Venezuelan businesspeople in Caracas, stating that the Islamic Republic’s definite strategy is to develop bilateral relations with priority given to the private sector.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, during his tour of Latin America, said at the meeting with Iranian private-sector producers and businesspeople residing in Venezuela, as well as Venezuelan traders: “Today, the economic war is the enemy’s primary battleground with us, and businesspeople are the commanders in this war. Our duty, as the parliament and government, is to support the commanders of this war.”
