Iran ready to play a role in the development of regional transport

Pars Today – The minister of roads and urban development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing the importance of regional cooperation, announced on Monday Iran’s full readiness to play a constructive role in the development of transport and logistics, and called for special attention to be given to the ECO 2035 Vision Document.
The 13th Meeting of Transport Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states officially commenced in Tehran on Monday (June 2), with a speech by Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzaneh Sadegh.
At the event’s opening, she said: “Holding this important event provides significant opportunities to strengthen regional cooperation within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) so that we can advance common goals, including the development of communication infrastructures and the prosperity of trade between member states.” / IRIB news agency
