Iran’s foreign minister addressing the IAEA chief: Iran will show the required reaction to any move of the European parties
According to Pars Today, quoting from IRNA, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, in a phone call with the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, asked him to clarify Tehran’s cooperation with the agency during the upcoming meeting of the Board of Governors next week, reiterate the repercussions of any political action as Iran will show the necessary reaction to any move by the European parties. Araghchi, repeating the continuous cooperation of his country with the IAEA, implementation of all activities under the agency’s supervision within the framework of the safeguards agreement, and lack of any deviation in activities and materials, asked the IAEA chief to reflect realities in a way that there remains no possibility for abuse of some of the parties in the IAEA with political motivations against the Iranian nation.
Amnesty International chief: West lost its credit 19 months ago
Secretary General of Amnesty International, Agnes Callamard, said ironically about the French president’s remarks on Gaza that the West lost its credit 19 months ago. Callamard wrote on X social network, “Macron has warned that the West may lose its credit because of the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. Seriously? The credit was lost 19 months ago as a result of the West’s complicity with the Israeli genocide in Gaza and inaction towards it. To revive this credit, something much more than words is needed.”
Britain to appropriate 1.5 billion pounds to construct 6 ordnance factories
British government intends to appropriate 1.5 billion pounds ($2 billion) for construction of 6 ammunitions factories and purchasing American fighters capable of carrying and launching nuclear heads. According to Reuters, the British defense ministry announced that it will also buy 7000 long-range weapons which are made domestically. According to John Healey, Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom, tough lessons have been learnt from the Ukrainian war which urge the UK to create deterrence through strengthening the army.
German FM: Impossible to defeat Russia
German foreign minister, in an interview with “Süddeutsche Zeitung” magazine, announced that it was clear from the beginning of the Ukrainian war that defeating Russia, especially because of its nuclear power, is impossible. Western supporters of Kiev, particularly the senior officials of Germany, France and Britain and the former American administration, led by Joe Biden, announced several times that their aim was to defeat Moscow “strategically” or at least prevent its victory. This justification is still used for continuation of military support for Kiev. German Foreign Minister, Johann Wadephul, confessed that it is quite clear that there is no solution for the Moscow-Kiev conflict except through diplomatic ways.
Police in Paris arrest 300
Nearly 300 were arrested in Paris after the victory of Paris Saint-Germain football team vs. Inter Milan of Italy. According to IRNA, quoting from French news agency, after the 5-0 victory of Paris Saint-Germain vs. Inter Milan, during the final match of the UEFA Champions League on Saturday night in Munich, Germany, thousands of the fans of the victorious team poured to the streets in Paris. But, their celebration led to clashes with the police and 300 of them were arrested.
