Pars Today – The US President-elect, Donald Trump, said after the terrorist incident in New Orleans that the United States of Biden is a “disaster” and in the state of disintegration and has turned into the “laughingstock” all over the world.
According to Pars Today, Donald Trump criticized weak leadership and lack of leadership in his country and “open borders” and wrote on “Truth Social” messenger, “Our country is a disaster and a laughingstock all over the world!” He added that this is the result of open borders, “weak and ineffective leadership and virtually nonexistent leadership”.
Referring to the terrorist attack in New Orleans, which killed 15 and injured 35 others, Trump had attributed the incident to “illegal immigration” and said that “thugs” who come to the country are much worse than those who are already there. He added, “Terrorism, and other forms of violent crime, will become so bad in America that it will become hard to even imagine or believe. That time has come, only worse than ever imagined.”
On Wednesday, a 42-year-old American citizen in Dallas, Texas, drove his pickup on the first day of the New Year towards a group of people in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, and shot those who were celebrating the New Year feast. In addition to the flag of DAESH, he had a pack of ammunitions and bombs in his pickup. He was a US Army veteran and his footage on the social media introduces him as an expert of real estate.
The US President, Joe Biden, said on Thursday that there are signs indicating that the assailant in New Orleans had been inspired by DAESH.
Trump’s vitriolic criticism of the American government and institutions and his admitting of the US failure has once again highlighted the issue of the American gradual disintegration in various aspects, the issue which has been emphasized by experts and scholars of political sciences. Trump, however, maintains that this disintegration is the result of incompetent and weak leadership and deviation of federal institutions from their main duties towards politically motivated measures.
With a harsh tone, Trump said that the federal institutions, such as the Justice Department, FBI, Democrat state and local prosecutors, have not done their job. Trump called the DOJ, FBI and Democrat state as “incompetent, corrupt, having spent all of their waking hours unlawfully attacking their political opponent, ME, rather than focusing on protecting Americans from the outside and inside violent SCUM that has infiltrated all aspects of our government, and our Nation itself.” The gradual decrease of the US role, power and influence in different aspects, both internally and externally, has drawn the attention of many political thinkers and circles all over the world.
This has resulted in many discussions not only among the rivals and opponents of the US, but also Western academic centers.
Mostafa Khoshcheshm, specialized in the American studies, says, “The American disintegration is not something to happen overnight. The decline of the US has begun long ago. This has been heeded even by the rivals of the US.”
The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, pointing to the problems facing the US and Washington’s bullying and inefficient approach, said on July 2021, that what matters is that these problems are continuously increasing and the time will arrive when they couldn’t be solved. Thus, the US is resolutely marching in the direction which the Soviet Union had marched.”
Critics believe that the US power is in decline both internally and externally. As in the internal dimension, economic, social and security crises are highly increasing given that armed violence and ever-increasing growth of racial and class gaps and serious political differences have aggravated bipolarity in the society. And in the external dimension, it is not just the hard power (military power) of the US which has diminished. The country’s semi-hard power (economic power) and even soft power (cultural influence and dominance) has also decreased. The entire trend is going to end in Washington’s final decline across the world.
Regarding the inefficient approaches, policies and measures of the US in various fields, Putin has predicted the fate of the Soviet Union for the United States.
