Pars Today –Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq in a meeting with Iraq’s Minister of Environment, Hallo Mustafa al-Askari stressed the urgent need to combat the phenomenon of dust storms.
In the meeting, Al-e Sadeq emphasized the necessity of bilateral and regional cooperation in addressing dust storms and, referring to the problems and consequences caused by fires in the Hoor Al-Azim Wetland for Iranian citizens, underscored the need for immediate action to extinguish recurring fires in the Iraqi section of the wetland.
Both parties called for the implementation of bilateral agreements in various environmental sectors. / IRNA
