Pars Today – On the 25th anniversary of the liberation of southern Lebanon from Zionist occupation, the speaker of the Lebanese Parliament on Sunday praised the people’s political support for the Resistance Movement in the recent municipal elections.
Nabih Berri thanked the public for backing the Lebanese Coalition of Development and Loyalty, stating that the people who once proved their greatness through resistance have now demonstrated their strength in the democratic arena. He pointed to the people’s resistance in expelling the Zionists from their lands 25 years ago, saying this was achieved through perseverance, resistance, and defense of the homeland and its sovereignty.
