Philippines suspends arms purchase agreement with israeli regime

Pars Today – An Israeli newspaper reported on Wednesday that the Philippine’s Ministry of Defense has suspended new agreements with Israeli arms companies.
The newspaper “Calcalist” wrote that following delays by Israeli arms companies in supplying requested weapons to the Philippines, Manila authorities announced that they would adhere to the agreement if the Israeli regime officially recognizes Philippine sovereignty over the disputed maritime area with China; otherwise, the cost of the cancellation would be borne by Tel Aviv’s arms industries. Israeli military industries told “Calcalist” that the crisis in these relations has intensified since the start of the new Philippine presidency. /IRNA
