Russia: Iran’s right to peaceful use of nuclear energy must be respected

Pars Today – The deputy secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation emphasized on Wednesday the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to benefit from peaceful use of nuclear energy.
Alexander Venediktov noted in his remarks that Moscow welcomes Iran’s continued cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council also stated that Iran’s right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy as a member of the NPT (Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons) must be respected. /ISNA
