Pars Today- The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said on Tuesday in a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan: Deepening and strengthening cooperation, especially joint and mutual investments between the two countries, can guarantee the future welfare, comfort, friendship and security of the two nations.
In a meeting with Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Muradov, President Masoud Pezhakian stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is interested in improving relations and expanding cooperation in various fields with its neighbors, especially Turkmenistan, and said: “In addition to being interested in importing natural gas from Turkmenistan, Iran also has the capacities and efficient capabilities to export natural gas and swap it with regional countries.”
Rashid Muradov also said in the meeting: “Turkmenistan sees long and distant horizons in the field of economic cooperation with neighboring Iran.”/ IRNA
