Pars Today- News website, “The Hill” in an opinion column, addressing Donald Trump’s approach towards the Zionist regime, wrote that Benjamin Netanyahu is not the US ally, especially with regards to Trump’s recent trip to West Asia in which he didn’t bother stop in Tel Aviv.
According to Pars Today, The Hill wrote on Monday, “When Trump ignored Israel in his recent trip to West Asia and preferred visiting the Persian Gulf Arab states, it was not originated in hatred and betrayal but distance and pragmatism. In other words, it reminded that the US is a superpower rather than a puppet country, a sponsor or a serviceman.”
The analyst of this Congress-based website added, “This distance indicates what the political class in the US has been afraid of for long. Netanyahu is not the friend of the US. He may call himself an ally, deliver speech at the Congress, hide behind the costume of Western values and speak about the Western civilization. But, if you look at him well, you’ll see a man who is strongly clinging to power and is ready to put the global stability at risk for [his own] political survival, fan the flames of war further and destroy the connecting bridges with the country that he pretends to respect.”
The writer of this article believes that Trump looks to have noticed this issue, and unlike the previous presidents who would speak in a low tone while writing the blank check for Israel, spoke powerfully because he has understood that the US has the bargaining chip.
According to this news website, the Zionist regime prime minister has prolonged the savage war in Gaza not because of principles or necessity, but out of political desperation. With every bomb that he drops on Gaza or every hospital that he destroys, he stays in his post as the prime minister rather than standing on trial for charges of extensive corruption.
The analyst of The Hill website, believes that Netanyahu is a man who tries to use the US power to escape from the domestic judgment.
The writer of this analysis also maintains that Trump’s current approach towards Israel has its roots in Netanyahu’s betrayal which has taken place since years ago. Netanyahu has exploited the American goodwill for years and, relying on AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), has stifled the opponents and anytime a person has dared to ask about his motives, he has been accused of “antisemitism”.
