Kurdistan Region’s president: Our land will never be a threat to Iran

Pars Today – The president of the Kurdistan Region, pointing out that the Islamic Republic of Iran was one of the first countries to help us in the war against Daesh terrorists, emphasized: ‘The territory of the Kurdistan Region has not been and will not be a source of danger for the Islamic Republic.
Nechirvan Barzani, speaking at the ‘Tehran Dialogue Forum’ regarding the resolution of long-standing disputes on the Iran-Kurdistan border, stated: “We have made significant progress in this area and now a mechanism has been established that is being jointly implemented between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran. One of our key principles is that we will not allow the Kurdistan Region to become a base for threatening our neighbors, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran.”/ IRNA
