Kamalvandi: ‘Tehran Dialogue Forum’ aims to elevate region’s role in global order

Pars Today –The Deputy for International Affairs at Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Behrouz Kamalvandi on Saturday emphasized the importance of the ‘Tehran Dialogue Forum’ in raising the Persian Gulf region’s profile in the international system.
He noted that the Forum aims to give the region its rightful place in shaping global arrangements. Kamalvandi also said that meetings with members of the Pugwash organization—a group focused on promoting nuclear disarmament and curbing weapons of mass destruction—are a prelude to the Forum’s main sessions scheduled in the coming days./ IRNA
