Iraq’s national security advisor meets with IRGC’s Quds Force commander in Baghdad

Pars Today – On Wednesday, the commander of Iran’s IRGC Quds Force met and held talks with Iraq’s national security advisor in Baghdad.
Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani, Commander of Iran’s IRGC Quds Force and Qasim al-Araji, Iraq’s National Security Advisor met to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations, joint efforts to secure the borders, and the implementation of the terms of the Iran-Iraq security agreement. General Qaani and al-Araji also stressed the importance of successful negotiations between Washington and Tehran, and emphasized the need for all parties to remain committed to dialogue and calm in order to achieve lasting stability in the region./ ISNA
