Baghaei: experience says we should proceed with extreme caution in talks with us

Pars Today – Regarding some claims about a deadlock in the indirect Tehran-Washington negotiation process, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “Such ups and downs are possible in any negotiation process, especially in a negotiation of this sensitivity between two parties that have a long history of mistrust towards each other.”
Esmaeil Baghaei made the remarks on the sidelines of a visit to the Islamic Republic News Agency’s (IRNA) pavilion at the Tehran International Book Fair. Regarding the process of negotiations between Iran and the United States and the claims and speculations surrounding it, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran said: “The very fact that negotiations were held and the parties emphasized the continuation of the work shows that the negotiation process is intended to continue.” /IRNA
