Baghaei: We are trying to make ‘Tehran Book Fair’ more prominent in region & world

Pars Today – The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “We are trying to introduce the ‘Tehran International Book Fair’ each year as a more prominent international event at the regional and global levels than the previous year.”
Regarding the direct or indirect impact of books on diplomacy, Esmaeil Baqaei stated, “The more you read and learn about your history in this field, the better you can represent the desires and interests of your people.” The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry added: “Historical books and books about the great men of a country are very important, and historical periods cannot be separated from the historical process.” The 36th Tehran International Book Fair, with the slogan “Let’s Read for Iran,” is being held from May 7th – 17th, 2025. /IRNA
