From Guardian to BBC; How do Western media normalize Israeli crimes?

Pars Today- The mainstream media in the West, which used to masquerade as guards of reality and democracy, have exposed their true face to distort realities and justify the crimes of their paymasters.
The decline of the Western media has become very obvious, particularly in the coverage they give to the massacre and genocide in Gaza. The media, like Guardian, BBC and Sky News have adopted a passive language and played a direct role in omitting any criticism of Israeli crimes through repetition of hackneyed narratives to whitewash unprecedented human catastrophe in Gaza and even sympathize with the Zionist regime.
According to Pars Today, quoting from New Arab website, the Zionist regime, systematically violating international rules, kills around 100 children every day, has put 2 million people under food siege and bombs hospitals; yet, the Western media choose deviating headlines to exonerate Israel from any responsibility for these crimes.
For instance, the savage murder of Hind Rajab- with 335 tank bullets- was diminished by BBC to the headline, “Hind Rajab, 6, found dead in Gaza”. Sky News, too, described the gruesome massacre of the medical staff in Gaza as, “Claimed Murder”.
British Guardian, which claims to be an independent newspaper, describes the Israeli attacks as, “precise and targeted” without pointing to the killing of civilians.
News Double Standards
While the Western media, including Guardian, clearly condemn Russia in the Ukrainian war- “Scores kills in Russian missile attack” (a Guardian headline)- they apply an ambiguous and biased language about Israel. For instance, cutting vital assistance for Gaza by Israel is called as “trying to change ceasefire agreement” rather than a war crime.
When the Zionist regime blocked the entry of medical equipment to Gaza in March, several weeks before imposition of the illegal paralyzing siege and prohibition of sending fuel, water and food to the region, Guardian described it as “changing ceasefire agreement”. While the UN has condemned the move as a crime against humanity, it was depicted as a tactic for negotiation and a military strategy as if a legitimate action has taken place.
Guardian overwhelmed with political pressures and censor
Internal documents and reports indicate that the Israeli lobby has strongly impacted the editorial staff of the British daily “Guardian”. The editor-in-chief of the paper met with an Israeli general amidst carnage of Palestinians in Gaza which widely angered the personnel, yet proved the media’s submission to political pressures.
End of myth of media freedom in West
Finally, it should be noted that the media, like Guardian, can never claim to be unbiased as they have tried many times to normalize the Israeli crimes. The mainstream media in the West have already lost public trust as they have turned into a part of the propaganda machine of the powerful lobbies to adorn systematic violence and human rights violation. This media decline necessitates redefinition of independent and accountable journalism more than ever.
