Pars Today – In a meeting on Tuesday with Japan’s senior deputy foreign minister, Iran’s foreign minister referred to the long-standing friendly relations and deep ties between the Iranian and Japanese people. He emphasized the need to make full use of this valuable foundation to further expand bilateral relations in all areas, particularly in the economic and trade sectors.
Hiroyuki Namazu who is visiting Tehran to attend the 33rd round of political consultations between the deputy foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan, met and conferred with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi. Namazu expressed satisfaction with his productive discussions with his Iranian counterpart and, referring to the long-standing history of friendly relations between Iran and Japan, emphasized the importance of continuing consultations to further develop bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international issues.
