Pars Today – In an article criticizing the strategic policies of European countries, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran considered them to have a passive role in the diplomatic future of the West Asia region.
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, in an article published in the French magazine ‘Le Point’, referring to the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, the fourth round of which is currently being held with Oman’s mediation in Muscat, said: “In important dialogues, including the indirect negotiations underway between Tehran and Washington, European diplomats have a role no greater than passive observers.” The Iranian foreign minister added: “We have now left behind the colonial past, but Europe’s current stagnation, a product of its strategic choices, is harming all parties involved.” /ISNA
