Iran’s FM: Tehran is ready for any kind of consultation, synergy, and cooperation with Vatican in order to achieve peace & security in world

Pars Today – The Iranian foreign minister, in a message, congratulated the election of Pope Leon XIV as the new leader of the world’s Catholics, and emphasized that the Islamic Republic, drawing on religious teachings, has always been committed to strengthening and enhancing its relations and is ready for any kind of consultation, synergy, and cooperation with the Vatican.
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, in a message on Friday addressed to Pope Leon XIV, paid tribute to the late Pope Francis and expressed hope that his election would serve as a valuable opportunity to promote justice, human dignity, and the safeguarding of peace and tranquility.
Araghchi emphasized: “The Islamic Republic of Iran, within the framework of its principled approach to promoting ethics and upholding human rights and human dignity across the globe, will spare no effort in advancing interfaith dialogue, striving for global peace and security, and confronting violence, oppression, injustice, and bullying.” / IRNA
