Iaea’s deputy head: iran is not only country that enriches uranium and does not have nuclear weapons

Pars Today – The deputy head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (IAEA), in response to the US secretary of state’s statement that “Iran is the only country that does not have nuclear weapons but is enriching,” said: “Iran is not the only country that is enriching and at the same time does not have nuclear weapons.”
Behrouz Kamalvandi, referring on Friday to Marco Rubio’s statement that “Iran is the only country that does not have nuclear weapons but is enriching,” said: “This issue must be bothering the US Department of State’s staff, as to why the state secretary made such a statement without studying it.” He emphasized: “There are countries like Belgium, the Netherlands, South Korea, Japan, Argentina, and Germany that do not have nuclear weapons but are enriching, so it must be said that Iran is not the only country that is enriching and at the same time does not have nuclear weapons.”/ IRNA
