Pars Today – The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to London, in a meeting with the deputy foreign secretary of the United Kingdom, emphasized the observance of the legal rights and fair trial of Iranian citizens detained in this country.
Iran’s Embassy in London, publishing a message on the social media platform X on Wednesday night (local time), announced “Seyyed Ali Mousavi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to London, in a meeting with Hamish Falconer, Deputy Foreign Secretary of UK, referring to the recent arrest of seven Iranian citizens by British security agencies, called for full respect for the rights of these individuals and a fair trial. The two sides, emphasizing the role of diplomacy, agreed that dialogue and constructive interaction are the best path to resolve the differences and challenges in the relations between the two countries./ IRNA
