Pars Today – Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, slamming Washington’s policies for seizure of Greenland, stressed that this land belongs only to the Greenlanders.
Kaja Kallas defended the rights of the citizens of Greenland in a radio interview on Wednesday. According to Pars Today, Kallas said, “The only way to safeguard the world order is complete respect for the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and borders of countries.”
“As for the future of Greenland, it is only the people of the region who should decide”, said she.
Donald Trump, the American President, has said several times since his arrival in the White House, that he wants Greenland to be annexed to the US.
The officials of Greenland and Denmark, however, have made it clear that this North Pole Island is not for sale.
