During the recent phone call between Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, and Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, important issues such as the development of trade relations, strategic cooperation, and international matters were discussed. According to Pars Today, quoting BRICS television network, per a statement released by the Kremlin, both sides emphasized enhancing practical cooperation and coordinating foreign policy efforts.

The two leaders stressed the implementation of large-scale joint projects in the fields of transportation and energy.
